Konstmuseet i Norr opens to visitors again on Tuesday 17 August 2021.
This information may be subject to change based upon the current situation with Covid-19 and restrictions that apply.
It is with great pleasure that we can now welcome visitors to the art museum again. Konstmuseet i Norr has been closed for 280 days, since November. During the period that the museum has been closed due to the coronavirus, the problem of leakage in the premises has been solved.
We are gradually opening up with new exhibitions and at the turn of September/October, the entire museum will be open again. We look forward to an active autumn at Konstmuseet i Norr!
Welcome to the exhibition Samla & visa (Collect & Display)
The exhibition Samla & visa is currently ongoing, which examines the meanings and functions of collecting by starting from the art museum's mission as a permanent and conservational institution in changing times. The exhibition provides an insight into the challenges that a museum of contemporary art faces in its work and discusses how, what and why museums collect and show.
