For Schools

Children and young people are a target group that we prioritise at Konstmuseet i Norr and therefore we offer tours and educational activities where children and young people can be active participants. We also supply digital teaching materials to support those working in schools.

Two times a year the art museum will arrange specific educational weeks. Every instance consists of two weeks where teachers can book their class in for a museum visit. During the visit, students have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of our current exhibition and an activity in Plats för Skapande, the museum’s educational workshop, that is directly related to the exhibition. Each visit will take around 1.5-2 hours and is free of charge.

Educational activities are directed towards elementary school level and are divided as follows: years 1-2, years 3-4, years 5-6 and years 7-9.
