Discussion between Johan Bergström (SWE) and Ingeborg Annie Lindahl (NOR)
Both Bergström and Lindahl depict landscapes suggestively in their practice; these sublime scenes are inviting and familiar to the viewer and yet are at the same time often overwhelming in their size and scope. In the work of these artists it is possible to retrieve traces of human influence through interpretations of place and meaning. How is nature shaped in relation to human presence, and how do we view rendered images where the once-recognizable landscape has shifted?
The discussion will be led in Swedish by Maria Ragnestam, Artistic Director and Curator of Transitions, Konstmuseet i Norr.
