Who is allowed to make art and be seen in the city? During the ARTSCAPE 2022 KIRUNA street art festival you who are between 16 and 25 are invited to participate in creating one of Kiruna's new public works of art.


Who: Everyone aged 16–25.
When: Saturday, August 20
, at 10 a.m.
Where: Konstmuseet i Norr, Kristallen, Stadshustorget 1, Kiruna
How: During the workshop, you will create a personal part of a larger work of art based on your own memory from Kiruna. We provide paint, brushes and pencils. You are welcome to work with a friend.

The workshop is open from 10 a.m. Briefing with the artist takes place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Bring a friend and show up, lunch is on us!

The session is led by Johan Björn and Kim Granberg, architects, graffiti painters and designers who, with roots in the urban art scene, create new ways of moving and looking at the surroundings.

The workshop is carried out in collaboration with Konstmuseet i Norr and with the support of LKAB and Allmänna Arvsfonden.


The nonprofit organisation Artscape was founded in Malmö in 2014 and is Scandinavia's leading player in urban contemporary art. Artscape wants to inspire people and promote public art for all. The organisation is constantly working on new exciting projects that will explore the possibilities of street art in the modern urban environment. Artscape is about social sustainability, equality and cultural diversity. And of course great art!
